June Weddings in 2010…

Friday, July 9th, 2010

Summer was very relaxed and happy before her nuptiuals...always a good sign!

June 27, 2010

June has always been the favorite month for weddings. June 2010 seems to have carried on the tradition. It certainly has for Jubilee Flowers.

We started out with a small family wedding on the Grand Lawn at the Grand Hotel.  Held on a weeknight, it was just perfect for this Baton Rouge couple. Gorgeous weather and a blazing sunset was a bonus for their outside nuptials under the famous Jubilee Wedding Arch with “kissing balls” hanging from the sprawling branches of a Live Oak tree.

(Keep in mind, booking weddings for a weeknight sometimes means more affordable prices for catering and musical entertainment.)

Our second June wedding was on a bright Saturday afternoon in downtown Fairhope at the Fairhope Inn. The romantic courtyard was the scene for the ceremony with reception indoors.  Fairhope Inn is a great site for a small to medium size wedding. The food and service is superb with ambience to match.

Father Of The Bride Relaxing

Capping off June, a Birmingham bride and her groom from Montgomery said their vows at St. Francis at the Point. (Definitely one of our favorite sites for weddings- close to Grand Hotel, downtown Fairhope for receptions).Their reception was scheduled for Julep Point. Threatening weather forced a move inside (kudos to hotel staff for pulling this off. They even moved all of our arrangements without a hitch!). The couple and their guests dined and danced to 11:30. A memorable night for all!
